ENGLISH —It’s not a sin before you’re caught, one Colombian pastor and former colleague commented with dry irony.
He had just had it with the amount of excuses and lack of ethical behaviour from people who were more than willing to follow the letter of the law but knew nothing of the Spirit having written that very same law.
“So I turned my mind to understand, to investigate and to search out wisdom and the scheme of things and to understand the stupidity of wickedness and the madness of folly.” (Ecc 7:25)
“He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant —not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” (2Cor 3:6)
